Buddy Class Time Yesterday Thanks Room 23

Welcome To Term 2: Kadodo African Traditional Drum & Dance Performance

We all enjoyed a 40 minute performance
today from the Kadodo African Traditional
Drum and Dance Group. They even included
students and teachers into their performance.

The drums sounded amazing.
They were very loud at times.

There was plenty of
audience participation.

It was fun clapping along
with the drum beats.

We got to dance to the beat at the end.
It was awesome.

ANZAC Ted

This week Room 11 has been learning
about ANZAC Day.

After reading the story ANZAC Ted
we introduced our own bears to Room 11
and wrote stories about them.

We enjoyed playing inside games
with our bears and......

had a Teddy Bear's picnic inside
while the rain poured down outside.

We all agree our bears are very special
and ANZAC Ted was a marvellous
mascot for our brave New Zealand soldiers.
